One of the most well-known and respected political theorists and social reformers was Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Democracy should be social, economic, and political, according to Ambedkar. Additionally, he made a strong effort to free lower caste members from the grip of brahmanical society. 'One person, one vote' and 'one vote, one value' are two of his extraordinary definitions of democracy's role in his exploitation-less society. Democracy entails enabling citizens to take part in the decision-making process. According to B. R. Ambedkar, Liberty, equality, and fraternity are hallmarks of democracy. Ambedkar also believed that after much battle, social harmony was more important than Indian freedom, and he underlined that the Dalits should proceed according to three principles: educate, organize, and act.
