Abstract:

This paper analysis on a study on the relationship between human beings and nature. This study focused on the connection between nature and human beings. Literature is mixture of genres which includes drama, prose, poetry, novels, short stories and movies. During the 16th century the writers wrote about nature using different genres to create an awareness about nature against industrialisation. There are poets who gives importance to environment and nature. The romantic period poets usually write about nature. They used to compare nature with human beings. After the Romantic period, few writers give importance to nature and talked about environmental Issues using different genres. As days goes on people forget about nature and it’s depended upon the author’s interest whether to talk about environmental issues or not. Writers like Margret Atwood, Richard Powers, Barbara Kingsolver, Elizabeth Rush, Nathaniel Rich, Naomi Klein, and George Marshall wrote about environmental issues in their notable works. In The book The Overstory Richard powers talks about the human being’s connection with Nature especially with trees. This paper deals with a detail analysis on the relationship between human beings and nature.
