People naturally react when something seems wrong or unfair. They usually express their disagreement when they feel that their freedom is being restricted or their dignity is being harmed. When people feel uncomfortable, they express disapproval. This act of speaking out and opposing unfair treatment is called resistance. In society, the manifestation of resistance can be seen in different ways. It may appear in personal actions or in group efforts like protests or boycotts. The aim of this paper is to study the manifestation of resistance in the writings of Ayaan Hirsi Ali. It tries to understand the different ways resistance appears in her works and how it shows up in society.
